The Boeing Test Aircraft Maintenance Support KC-46 test program is needing to hire an Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Scheduler at Edwards Air Force Base.
Understands the integration of the scheduling and business systems.
Develops solutions to problems.
Analyzes and passes defect free data to downstream systems.
Trains co-workers on the data integration between master schedules and downstream systems, as well as processes used to pass the data.
Represents the business systems in workshops for process improvements.
Develops request for cost and risk impact associated with proposed schedule changes.
Analyzes and integrates inputs.
Develops cost/risk benefit summaries and recommendations for leadership approval, with assistance from higher level analyst.
Implements approved plan.
Understands integration of the data tables and software applications.
Develops solutions to problems and applies process improvements.
Analyzes data to pass defect free data to downstream systems.
Trains co-workers on the generation of firing order and supporting products.
Represents the firing order process within workshops for process improvements and value stream mapping exercises.
Initiates and implements internal process improvements.
Independently determines and develops technical solutions.
Utilizes process improvement methodology (e.
g.
value stream mapping, employee engagement techniques, flow reduction, etc.
) and applies industrial engineering theories, principles, and concepts.
Develops and executes new programs and derivatives schedules based on number one unit flows and application of appropriate learning curves with direction from a subject matter expert.
Develops detailed master schedules, utilizing thorough understanding of scheduling processes, techniques and philosophies.
Establishes working relationships with customers and suppliers.
Analyzes manufacturing operating plans, document constraints, determine capacity and negotiate alternatives as required.
Translates operating plans into appropriate systems/tools.
Generates, edits, and validates schedule data.
Develops solutions to problems.
Analyzes and passes defect free data to down stream systems.
Creates and distributes Master Schedules products.
Represents Master Schedules in process improvement workshops.
Trains less experienced schedulers.
Creates charts associated with the standard revision process.
Develops presentations that portray the philosophy and techniques applied to build the production schedule.
Analyzes impact of rate, new program, and special scenarios on railcars and sea van requirements.
Develops railcar and sea van quantities in conjunction with transportation elements (i.
e.
transportation flow, shipping configurations, supplier routes, contingency units), and shop operating plans.
Provides requirements to tooling, facilities and manufacturing, etc.
Analyzes impact of rate, new program, and special scenarios on tool and position requirements.
Develops tool and position quantities in conjunction with shop operating plans.
Provides requirements to tooling, facilities and manufacturing, etc.

Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.

Master).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
