Rocket and Propulsion Technology Research (RAPTR) Program Manager

The RAPTR Program Manager (PM) will be responsible for leading a diverse team of 80 highly performing professionals to meet or exceed the Contract requirements.
The PM will work with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Customer to successfully propose and execute a variety of Rocket and Propulsion related Task Orders.
The PM will also have the responsibility to make and implement all decisions regarding the performance of the RAPTR contract.
The PM will have authority for all contract matters and provide performance management, business management, process management and program management.
The PM or their alternate shall be on site and available during normal duty hours.
Contractor employees will be located at multiple locations throughout AFRL/RQ-West and shall be exclusively under the supervision and control of the contractor's management.
The PM will work with on-site Jacobs employees, subcontract employees and consultants as well as industry and universities to assign qualified resources to meet RAPTR Task Order requirements.
The PM will work closely with HR to recruit, hire, develop and retain new talent.
Safety is an absolute and as such, the PM will work proactively with the customer, Jacobs corporate and on-site Safety Leadership to ensure all employees have the required training, personal protective equipment, policies and procedures to prevent injuries and incidents.
Qualifications :
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Science or Chemistry with minimum 10-years' experience as a Manager on Federal Contracts or Master's Degree in Engineering, Science or Chemistry with 8 years' experience as a Manager on Federal Contracts or a PhD in Engineering, Science or Chemistry with 5 years' of experience as a Manager on Federal ContractsExperience with Rocket Propulsion Technology, Project and Program Management, NASA and DoD Propulsion Programs, Research and Test Operations, Hazardous Risk Analysis, recruiting and hiring high performing science and technology professionals and managing Profit and Loss.
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Security ClearanceSkills to include Excellent Communication, both oral and written.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
