The Boeing Company is seeking an Entry Level Electrical System Design Engineer in support of follow-on testing for the B-1B Flight Test Program. This position is part of a collaborative team developing instrumentation systems to collect flight test data and is located out of Edwards Air Force Base, CA. You will be part of an integrated test team supporting the ongoing testing and future support of the B-1B. Position
Responsibilities:
The candidate will design, document, build, test, troubleshoot, and modify electrical systems, power distribution systems, and wire harnesses for B-1B aircraft instrumentation systems. Develop, prepare, check and coordinate designs, drawings, and manufacturing planning as needed for instrumentation electrical systems as per applicable Boeing standards. Develop test plans and procedures. Research electronic products to integrate into future instrumentation system designs to meet customer requirements. Support instrumentation pre-flights on B-1B aircraft. Prepare requisitions and specifications for procurement agents. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop solutions for the customer and other stakeholders. Must possess good organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills. Will work within a flight test environment (Aircraft, Flight Line, and Laboratory). This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry by June 2022 Experience with power distribution systems Experience using CAD to generate wiring and cabling schematics Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Have or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months Active Security Clearance Experience with MIL-STD-1553 and/or MIL-STD-1760 communication protocols Experience with MIL spec connectors and backshells Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Typical Education /
Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Relocation:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
